Dialogue event "Dying at home or in a care home: challenges for relatives, doctors and carers"
This is the first of five public and national events that will encourage the exchange of knowledge between researchers and representatives from various areas of society.
|Venue||Swiss National Science Foundation, plenary room 21, Berne|
Caring for a dying person is challenging for relatives, volunteers and professionals: they wish to respect the desires and needs of people in their last phase of life and create the right environment for a dignified death. At the same time, there are care duties, medical obligations and practical concerns to be taken care of. Who assumes all these responsibilities? Who decides what will be done and what not? Who can help in this situation? Who pays? Who coordinates?
The event is organised by NRP "End of Life" in collaboration with CURAVIVA Schweiz. It addresses experts from practice, professional associations and organisations as well as federal and cantonal offices.
